Students of Grade 3 conducted a food -fair on Saturday i.e. 30TH Aug’13 as an EVS activity. The purpose of this activity was to establish an understanding of the regional diversities of food and to experience the art of making food by presenting and decorating it in it’s best form. Students brought different dishes related to various regions such as Kashmir, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bengal, Punjab, Delhi etc.
They had also brought dishes which had originated outside the Indian region such as American burger, Russian cake and Italian pasta. It was an amazing experience for the children as they were able to taste the diverse flavours of food which belong to different regions.
